Rekiden is a text-based historical simulation game powered by ChatGPT.
You play as a historical warlord or statesman, make strategic decisions, and experience alternate histories in a turn-based format.
Choose a Scenario
Browse the list in README.en.md
and pick a scenario from the Sengoku or Bakumatsu period.
Copy the Markdown File
Open the corresponding .md
file (e.g., 1561_kawanakajima_en.md
) and copy all text.
Paste into ChatGPT
In your ChatGPT (GPT-4 or later) session, paste the entire scenario file.
Follow the Instructions
The scenario will provide a faction template. Choose your side (e.g., Takeda Clan), fill in your name, and follow the prompts.
Make Decisions Turn-by-Turn
ChatGPT will simulate results based on your actions and continue the story dynamically.
Here’s a sample flow using the Battle of Kawanakajima (1561) scenario:
