⚠️ Important Notice
❗️ This repository does not include PTC Creo files (.prt / .asm / .drw) for exercises.
EduMecha is intended as a curriculum framework and instructional design template for mechanical design education using parametric 3D CAD.
It is a resource for instructors, curriculum designers, and researchers rather than a ready-to-use exercise set.
📥 How to Obtain or Create Creo Model Files (.prt / .asm)
While no Creo CAD files are included, you can create or obtain your own models using official free offerings from PTC:
-
Creo Parametric Free Trial (14 days)
A fully functional evaluation version suitable for short-term model development.
→ Try Creo for Free – PTC -
Creo University Student Edition (1 year)
A free license for eligible students and educators, ideal for continuous curriculum development.
→ PTC Education Portal
📄 For detailed instructions on installing Creo, building .prt
/ .asm
files, and exporting .step
or .pdf
formats, refer to:

📘 Overview
EduMecha is an educational repository for structured learning of mechanical design using parametric 3D CAD (primarily PTC Creo Parametric).
It supports planning for 2D-to-3D modeling, design intent visualization, enclosure design, orthographic drawing, assembly modeling, and CAE integration.
EduMecha は、PTC Creo Parametric を活用し、2D図面から3D設計、筐体構造、アセンブリ、CAE解析までを一貫して学ぶ教育リポジトリです。
🔧 Features
- ✏️ 2D → 3D modeling practice
- 📐 Understanding parametric constraints and design intent
- 🧩 Assembly modeling and drawing practice
- 🛠 Enclosure design integrated with AITL-H intelligent control system
- 📊 Integration with CAE tools like Creo Simulate (stress, COG, etc.)
